Working purposefully on better teams
TeamPacer helps teams perform better by making their dynamics measurable and improvable. Whether you are looking for quick insight or want to work with your team structurally, we have an approach that fits.
Book an exploratory callWhy we started TeamPacer
TeamPacer does not come from a book. It comes from the sports field, where we saw how good coaching makes the difference between a group of talents and a winning team. From years inside large organisations, where we learned how much potential is left untapped when the interplay falters. And from education, where we learned that a group only grows when everyone feels safe enough to take part.
Those three worlds come together in TeamPacer.
Elite sport
We know how a team feels when it really runs, and how much work precedes it. In elite sport we saw what rhythm, trust and a common goal do to a group, and how good coaching makes the difference. We bring that experience to every workplace.
Business
We know the reality of large organisations: everything has to be fast, deadlines are short, budgets tight and the margin for error small. There is rarely time for the question of how our team is actually doing. That is exactly why we built an approach that does.
Education
In education you see every day how decisive the atmosphere is in which people work: a group that feels good achieves so much more. We were also able to do scientific research there, which gave us valuable insights into how team dynamics can be influenced purposefully.
Our vision
Team dynamics are the result of measurable factors such as shared ambition, a safe climate and clear communication. Factors that you can make visible, understand and improve with focus.
Our goal
Our goal is to bring organisations to better performance, from the inside out.
An organisation is only as strong as the teams it consists of. By helping those teams collaborate better, you lift the whole organisation to a higher level.
Frequently asked questions
What is TeamPacer?
TeamPacer helps teams collaborate better. We measure team dynamics with a scientifically validated questionnaire and then, guided by a dedicated Pacer, get to work with focus on what can be improved. People first, backed by data.
What exactly does TeamPacer measure?
We measure team dynamics along the eleven axes of the scientifically validated TeamFlow model by Dr Jef van den Hout: seven conditions (collective ambition, common goal, aligned personal goals, good mix of skills, open communication, safety and mutual commitment) and four characteristics (sense of unity, mutual trust, sense of joint progress and shared focus).
Are team members' answers anonymous?
Yes. Team members complete the questionnaire anonymously and the results are analysed exclusively at team level. No individual profiles are created and nobody gets a label: it is about how the team collaborates as a whole.
How does the TeamPacer method work?
The accessible start is the Quick Scan: within one to two weeks you know objectively how a team is doing. If a team calls for improvement, we start the PACE programme: a fixed cycle of Poll, Analyse, Concretise and Evolve. After four to six weeks a new measurement follows, so that progress becomes visible.
What does it cost to get started?
We are happy to discuss costs in a no-obligation introductory call, so we can propose an approach that fits your situation and scale. Feel free to get in touch and we will look at what is possible together.
What is the difference between TeamPacer and Management Drives, DISC or MBTI?
Those methods look at the individual characteristics of team members, such as drives, behavioural style or personality. TeamPacer looks at the team as a whole: how you collaborate around a shared task. We do not label people, but make team dynamics measurable and link a fixed improvement cycle to it. Within a programme such an individual method can be a fine addition.
