Teams at their best

That is what we go for. TeamPacer makes visible what holds team dynamics back and guides teams towards improvement. Efficient and effective. People first, backed by data.

For whom

Every team has its own dynamics, and so its own approach. Whether you lead a permanent department, run a project team under time pressure, sit on a management team or coach a squad: we bring out what is in there. Sometimes we start exploratively with a Quick Scan, sometimes we step straight into a full PACE programme.

Team in a meeting

Permanent teams

The teams that carry your organisation. Some run by themselves; in others there is friction in the collaboration that you cannot quite put your finger on. We make visible how each team is really doing, and get to work with the teams that need it.

What that usually means

Usually a Quick Scan across several teams at once, and a PACE programme for the teams that need attention.

Project team at work

Project teams

Put together temporarily, often from different departments or organisations, and under time pressure from day one. The assignment is clear; the collaboration rarely is. We help a project team become one team quickly, and stay that way as the deadline approaches.

What that usually means

A short measurement at the start, and focused support at the moments when things grate.

Management team in conversation

Management teams

Strong professionals, each with their own responsibility. That is exactly where the question arises whether you really form one team, with a shared direction and enough trust to have the sharp conversation. We make those dynamics discussable and help you move forward together.

What that usually means

Often a PACE programme straight away, because the reason is usually already clear.

Sports team celebrating a goal together

Sports teams

A team does not win on technique and fitness alone. At the moments that matter, the dynamics between players make the difference. We work with trainers and coaches on what holds a squad together: clear roles, mutual trust and the will to keep going when things go against you.

What that usually means

Measure at the start of the season, and adjust at the moments that count.

“An organisation is the sum of the teams it is built from. From the boardroom to deep in the operation. How the teams perform determines how the organisation performs as a whole.”

From gut feeling to insight

TeamPacer maps how the team experiences its collaboration. With TeamInsights, the platform that makes team dynamics visible, we know where things run well and where they grate. That lets us work on improvement together, with real focus.

The team stays at the wheel. We help keep up the pace.

People first

You do not improve teams with dashboards, but with people. That is why at TeamPacer you always work with a dedicated Pacer: an experienced facilitator who knows your team personally and helps it forward step by step. Insight and data support the process, but people make the difference.

How it works

With PACE, our science-based method, we make hidden patterns in team dynamics visible and translate them into concrete actions. Step by step, teams build measurable, lasting performance improvement.

Poll

The team completes a short, validated measurement. Fifteen minutes per person, anonymous and at team level.

Analyse

You see where collaboration runs well and where it slows down. What used to be discussed mainly in the corridor becomes visible and discussable.

Concretise

The team chooses concrete improvement actions. Small, workable steps that the team itself owns.

Evolve

The team puts the actions into practice and measures again. This creates a steady rhythm of improvement, and you see the progress in black and white.

Poll again for a continuous rhythm

Teams that collaborate better move projects forward faster, make change stick and keep performing when the pressure is on.

From practice

How it worked at Mendix

1

The starting point

A software development team of six. The team was doing fine, but the feeling was that there was more in it.

2

The measurement

The first measurement made it concrete: open communication scored 6.6, the lowest of all building blocks. So that was where the first gains were to be made.

3

Getting to work

The team worked specifically on agreements about giving and receiving feedback. Concrete, aimed at lasting collaboration and chosen by the team itself.

4

The result

At the next measurement, open communication rose to 7.1. A clear improvement, and for the team an incentive to push on.

That improvement in communication is not a goal in itself, but a condition for performing better as a team.

Because team members find it easier to say what they see, think and need, bottlenecks come to the table sooner, feedback is used faster and the collaboration gains sharpness.

This gives the team a firmer basis for working together not only more pleasantly but also more effectively, and for making better use of the potential that is there.

“The measurement made discussable what we all felt but never said out loud. The agreements about feedback therefore really came from us as a team. And you still notice that, every week.”

What clients say

TeamPacer showed our team what we had long felt but could not name. The data made it discussable, and the actions made the difference!

What convinced me was the cyclical character. After the second measurement we saw real change in the student teams. Not because someone told them what to do, but because they could take ownership of their own development.
